The Charleston Plus mail post, designed by Mayne, shares the stately look of the Liberty mail post but in a slightly smaller scale, and it has quickly become a favorite among customers. Installing these durable mail posts is simple - they can be easily mounted over a standard 4-by-4 wood post, with about 2-3 feet buried in the ground and 4 feet left above the surface. The decorative sleeve is then slid over the post, the paper holder arm is attached, and the mailbox of your choice can be securely bolted to the arm.

Mayne's mail posts are crafted using 100% high-grade Polyethylene resin, making them durable, lightweight, and highly resistant to impact. These posts are designed for four-season use, with the resin containing built-in UV inhibitors that help prevent fading and preserve the color, ensuring long-lasting quality. The posts are best suited for medium-sized mailboxes weighing less than 12 pounds, with a minimum width of 6 1/4 inches (the paper holder mounting surface measures 6.125 inches wide by 17 inches long).

The Charleston Plus mail post ships in two boxes, one for the standard post (MP5843) and one for the arm and planter (MP5810), and includes all the necessary hardware and instructions. However, the 4-by-4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware are not included.
