Mayne mail posts install easily over a standard 4 by 4 wood post. Bury about 2-3 feet in the ground and leave 3.5 feet above the ground. Slide the decorative sleeve over the post and attach the arm and planter using the hardware provided. Secure your mailbox of choice to the arm. A mounting plate or bracket is required when mounting a mailbox on the Westbrook Plus.
