Accommodating a standard 4x4 wood post (POST NOT INCLUDED), the ground screw securely holds any 4x4 post, making it great for applications like mailbox posts, fences, and more. The hardware includes a tightening rod and 6 lag bolts, with two bolts on one side and three on the other.

For the majority of soil types, the no-dig option can be installed by pressing the included insert rod into the ground and twisting it into place. For hard, rocky soil, a hole that is both deep enough and narrow enough to fit the stake can be dug, with a smaller diameter than the shaft. After inserting the stake, the rod is tightened.
